Apple Music is apparently getting ready for a proper launch in Pakistan as local users are now getting Pakistan-specific membership options and successfully making payments for the music streaming service.
The development represents a key step toward the long-awaited release of Apple Music for iPhone users in Pakistan. The service has been available on Android for a while, but the full release on iOS has been limited.
Now, the monthly subscription fees of Apple Music are shown to the Pakistani subscribers as:
* Individual: Rs. 379 / month
* Family: Rs. 649/- per month
There is a month free trial with both plans. Subscriptions will renew monthly automatically after the trial period unless cancelled.
Apple’s own local subscription and payment system is said to be coming up during its ongoing iOS 27 beta testing cycle. The successful payments by Pakistani customers suggest that the service is moving beyond only showing local rates and the infrastructure for a subscription is taking off.
Support Detection PayPak
The rollout is purportedly bringing local payment capability, as PayPak cards have apparently been used to successfully make Apple Music payments in Pakistan. Other regionally issued cards may be supported when the service becomes more generally available.
There have been stories about Apple Pay potentially launching in Pakistan as well, although Apple has not yet officially announced an Apple Pay deployment for the country.
Some users have apparently been testing out the latest iOS beta, to see if the new payment feature is present. But these claims should be seen as early indicators of an Apple Pay rollout, rather than confirmation.
Apple has not yet made any public announcement confirming the official Apple Music launch in Pakistan. But the emergence of local subscription plans and functioning payment alternatives may indicate that the deployment is imminent.

The iOS 27 update is also slated to bring a number of enhancements to Apple Music, including a revamped AutoMix experience, landscape support, and improved artist pages.
