The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 price in Pakistan relies on storage (ROM & RAM), PTA approval, warranty, the mobile phone’s availability on outlet. Galaxy Z 7 is Samsung’s most premium smartphone, made for users who want a flagship phone and like tablet’s experience in one device.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes with several important upgrades over the previous generation. It is thinner, lighter, and easier to carry. Samsung has also added a larger foldable display, Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, a 200MP main camera, and Android 16 with One UI 8.
For Pakistani buyers, however, the purchase decision is not only about specifications. PTA tax, local warranty, storage variant, and whether the phone is PTA approved or non-PTA can make a major difference in the final cost.

Design and Build Quality
One of the major upgrades is the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The phone weighs roughly 215 grams, much lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It also measures around 8.9mm when folded and about 4.2mm thick when opened.
That makes the Fold 7 in its folded state seem a lot more like a regular flagship phone. This lighter body would be particularly handy for Pakistani users who use their phones all day for work, travel, social media and communication.
Samsung has also updated the overall folding design for a more comfortable grip and a huge interior display.
8-Inch Foldable Display
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 features an 8.0-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable display.
The screen supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate, which provides smooth scrolling, gaming, and animations.
The large display is particularly useful for:
- Watching videos and movies
- Reading documents
- Using spreadsheets
- Browsing websites
- Editing photos
- Multitasking
- Gaming
- Business applications
The Fold 7 works well for professionals who frequently use multiple applications at the same time.
6.5-Inch Cover Display
Samsung has expanded the outside display to 6.5 inches. The phone seems more natural when folded. You can simply use WhatsApp, banking apps, maps, social media, calls and other routine apps without unlocking the main display.
This makes the Fold 7 more useful to many consumers than earlier Fold models.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Performance
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset.
It’s meant to be flagship-performance and it breezes through demanding apps, gaming, multitasking, productivity tools and AI capabilities. The phone comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, however the 12GB RAM models are anticipated to be more prevalent in Pakistan.
The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option is a reasonable compromise of storage capacity vs overall cost for most people.
200MP Camera Upgrade
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 includes a major camera upgrade.
The rear camera setup includes:
| Camera | Resolution |
| Main Camera | 200MP |
| Ultra-Wide Camera | 12MP |
| Telephoto Camera | 10MP |
| Optical Zoom | 3x |
| Cover Selfie Camera | 10MP |
| Inner Selfie Camera | 10MP |
The 200MP primary camera gives users more flexibility for photography, cropping, portraits, travel shots, and social media content.
This is a significant improvement over the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which used a 50MP main camera.
Battery and Charging
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes with a 4,400mAh battery.
It supports:
- 25W wired charging
- 15W wireless charging
- 4.5W reverse wireless charging
Battery capacity has not improved compared to the previous generation.
Battery life varies widely with use. When you’re gaming, streaming videos, navigating with GPS and multitasking on the big 8-inch display, that’s going to take a bigger bite out of your battery than the basics on the cover screen.
Charging speed is decent, although a number of rival Android flagships provide far quicker charging.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 PTA Tax in Pakistan
If you are buying a non-PTA Galaxy Z Fold 7, then PTA tax is an essential factor to consider. PTA tax might be calculated at roughly Rs. 193,000 depending on how you register together with the government responsibilities.
This sum might vary thus purchasers should always verify the current PTA registration cost before buying an imported gadget. A non-PTA phone may seem considerably cheaper initially but with PTA registration the overall cost may grow dramatically.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 vs Galaxy Z Fold 6
| Feature | Galaxy Z Fold 7 | Galaxy Z Fold 6 |
| Main Display | 8.0-inch | 7.6-inch |
| Cover Display | 6.5-inch | 6.3-inch |
| Main Camera | 200MP | 50MP |
| Processor | Snapdragon 8 Elite | Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 |
| Weight | 215g | 239g |
| Folded Thickness | 8.9mm | 12.1mm |
| Battery | 4,400mAh | 4,400mAh |
| S Pen Support | No | Yes |
The Fold 7 offers clear improvements in design, display size, camera, and performance. However, users who depend on S Pen functionality may prefer the Fold 6.
Is Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Worth Buying in Pakistan?
For those who desire one device for productivity, entertainment, business and day-to-day smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a good alternative. Biggest benefits include a bigger 8-inch screen, lighter chassis, Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU, 200MP camera and enhanced cover display.
But the phone itself is pricey and the PTA tax might add a lot to the entire cost. If you’re a frequent multitasker, work with papers, handle business apps, or want a premium folding experience, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be worth the cost.
If you’re looking for good cameras and flagship performance, you may be better suited with a classic premium smartphone.
