Pakistan Car Sales Jump 141% in July 2026

Demand for new automobiles continued to grow in Pakistan as car sales in July 2026 soared 141.28% from the same month last year.

Statistics from Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) showed that local manufacturers sold 17,216 vehicles in July compared to 7,135 units sold in July 2025.

This represents a year-on-year increase of 10,081 vehicles, with monthly sales more than doubling from the previous year.

The large leap is a sign of revived demand for locally manufactured cars and a sign of increased activity in Pakistan’s automobile sector.

The month also saw a surge in sales of electric vehicles, a sign of increasing customer interest in electric mobility and alternative vehicle technologies.

The current results come at a time when the automobile sector in Pakistan is gaining momentum. A bump in auto sales might be a boon for manufacturers, dealerships and other companies tied to the auto industry.

The auto sector is making a comeback with higher market activity in July results, but future sales will depend on vehicle costs, financing conditions and overall consumer demand.
