The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has received 4,901 consumer complaints against telecom companies in the country in June 2026. Out of these, 4,611 cases were disposed of before the end of the month, registering an overall complaint redressal rate of the regulator at 94.08%.

Cellular Mobile Telephony registered the highest share of complaints in the month. PTA received 4,188 complaints connected to cellular services which is above 85% of total complaints received.
The Authority redressed 3,984 complaints pertaining to cellular services with a redressal percentage of 95.13%. This had the greatest resolution rate among the major telecom service segments.
Internet services ranked second in the number of complaints, with consumers reporting 581 claims in June. The PTA resolved 513 complaints with a redressal percentage of 88.3 percent.
In the month there were 109 complaints on fixed line services or basic telephony. Of these, the regulator settled 93 cases, taking the redressal rate of the category to 85.32 per cent, lowest among the four service categories.
Wireless Local Loop (WLL) services had the least number of complaints with 23 incidents, reported in June. PTA resolved 21 of them, achieving a redressal rate of 91.3%.
Figures are generally indicative of PTA’s success in redressing the vast majority of telecom-related complaints received in June. Cellular services topped the complaint numbers and redressal rate among the major categories.
