Fuel prices have been revised, with high-speed diesel (HSD) seeing an increase while motor spirit (MS) petrol offers slight relief for the next 24 hours.
Petrol prices have been reduced by Rs. 0.75 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 390.62 per litre. In contrast, diesel prices have risen by Rs. 2.24 per litre, also reaching Rs. 390.62 per litre.
The adjustment follows a surge in global oil prices, which have climbed above $90 per barrel. At the time of reporting, Brent crude stood at $91 per barrel, while WTI was recorded at $85 per barrel.
Earlier this week, on Tuesday, petrol prices were increased by Rs. 1.63 per litre to Rs. 335.81 per litre, while diesel saw a rise of Rs. 1.55 per litre to Rs. 388.38 per litre.
